The Parable of the Tares
Let's dig deeper, first let's go back a few verses.
Matthew 13
34) All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
35) That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things
which have been kept secret from the foundation of the
world.
What could this mean? We find many parables in this chapter and
Jesus said something very interesting about them. These truths that
Jesus is revealing to us have been kept secret since the foundation
of the world. When we look at the parable of the tares, we have to
ask ourselves, if this is indeed a spiritual saying, did all those
who came before this parable not realize that there were wicked
people on this earth who through their wickedness have made
themselves children of Satan? We need only go to the book of Genesis
to see where God makes a distinction between His seed and the seed
of the serpent.
| Genesis 3
13) And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
14) And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15) And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Surely this was known as it was written as early as the book of
Genesis. The question is do we have the eyes to see and the ears to
hear the true meaning of this parable. It is not a spiritual saying
at all but a truth made known to us straight from the mouth of
Jesus. The serpent has a seed and it is a real race of people
planted here in the real world. Where did they come from?
We have two witnesses, one from the Old Testament and one from
the New Testament that will answer this question.
Genesis 3
1) Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it,
neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7) And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
The word touch in verse 3 helps us to understand this mystery
that Jesus spoke of.
[5060] [gn naga`, naw-gah'] In the Hebrew Dictionary of the
Strong's Concordance the definition for this word means to; lie with
a woman.
Let's continue to reason this out as I know many who read this
will be shocked and maybe even appalled at this statement. In verse
7 what reaction did Adam and Eve have after they had taken of the
tree of knowledge of good and evil? First off they knew that they
were naked. They had become aware of their bodies, it would seem to
me if they simply ate a piece of fruit they would have more likely
become aware of their taste buds. Secondly they sewed fig leaves
together and covered not their mouths but their genitals. The very
parts that were involved in their disobedience to God.
Let's move on to the actual birth of the seed of the serpent.
Genesis 4 is where we see this take place.
Genesis 4
1) And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
2) And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
Cain was not Adam's son and if we dig deep enough we find all the
evidence we need to support this. First off, Cain and Abel were
twins but not of the same father. This is rare but happens, just ask
your doctor. Let's look at the word "again" in verse 2.
[3254] [yacaph, yaw-saf'] This word when taken back to the
original Hebrew means; to continue to do a thing, conceive again,
proceed.
Eve didn't pause between these births but continued in labor and
bare Abel.
Further proof that Cain was not Adam's son comes when we look
into Adam's genealogy. If we go to Genesis Chapter 5 we find the
generations of Adam. You will find there that neither Cain nor Abel
are mentioned. Abel was killed before he bare children but Cain on
the other hand did bare children (Gen 4:16) and is missing for a
different reason. He wasn't Adam's son.
The New Testament will support these facts.
2 Corinthians 11
1) Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
2) For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
The word beguiled here offers us much insight into what happened
in the garden.
[1818] [exapatao] The Greek word shown here is the original word
translated to beguiled here and it means to wholly seduce.
In other words mind, body and soul. Complete seduction and
deception.
Jesus didn't stop at the parable of the tares, as the book of
John bares record He would again give witness to serpent seed.
John 8
38) I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your
father.
39) They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do
the works of Abraham.
40) But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
41) Ye do the deeds of your
father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42) Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43) Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44) Ye are of your father the
devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Verse 44 speaks of their father being a murderer from the
beginning. We all know Cain was the first murderer and his father,
that old serpent, is ultimately their father and the enemy who sowed
these that would crucify our Lord, by insistence.
When we look at the Bible and consider all these scriptures this
parable takes on new life, new truth and fills us with the knowledge
of a mystery that remains hidden to most even during this time.
Let's consider Cain and his wickedness even from the beginning.
Consider those shouting out for our Lord to be crucified. These were
not of Judah but were the Kenites (sons of Cain), the serpent seed.
These same we are told about in Revelation (2:9 & 3:9) which
claim to be Jews but do lie. The
serpents seed bruised the heel of the woman's seed that day. Even
now that enmity still exists and that battle still rages on. Arm
yourself with the truth through prayer, having ears to hear and eyes
to see.
